We are excited to announce that StoneOne AG, initiator of Anaqor, becomes the Anaqor AG. The name change comes as a result of a strategic shift in focus on quantum computing. StoneOne has been active in this business field since 2019 building up quantum application expertise and developing PlanQK, the first community-driven platform and marketplace for quantum applications together with more than 100 partners.

The name change coincides with the appointment of Michael Falkenthal and David Niehaus as Chief Technological Officer and Chief Operations Officer respectively to the management board, joining long-time Chief Executive Officer Andreas Liebing and Chief Sales & Marketing Officer Dr. Mathias Petri. The intrapreneurial approach adopted to successfully found Anaqor as a venture within StoneOne and the subsequent strategic shift of the entire company has led all four to share the title of Co-Founder of Anaqor.
