Kick-Off of the SIBB Forum for Artificial Intelligence & Quantum Computing (AI & QC)

On Tuesday, February 20, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, SIBB Forum cordially invites you to the kick-off of the new forum for Artificial Intelligence & Quantum Computing. The venue is located in KI Park e.V.at Im Marienpark 22, 12107 Berlin.

The opening will be presented by Mirko Hillert, the spokesperson and managing director of iSAQB GmbH. Under the title "Intelligent Solutions - with and without Quantum Leaps," he will introduce the new forum and provide an overview of its goals.

Following this, Matthias Kaiser, Business Development Manager at Anaqor AG, will discuss how the next level of Artificial Intelligence can be ignited with Quantum Computing. The presentation will explore questions such as what Quantum Computing can do better, which areas of AI benefit from it, and how far we have come in this development.

Andreas Schepers, Head of Communications & Media at the DFKI Labor Berlin (German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence GmbH), will present the AI ecosystem in Berlin and provide a comprehensive overview of current developments.

Another highlight of the event is the lecture by Dr. Barbara Wellmann, Head of Quantum.Link at Deloitte. Her topic, "Quantum Computing for Climate Action," will shed light on which climate-relevant use cases can fundamentally benefit from Quantum Computing. She will introduce concrete examples from science and industry in the Quantum Computing x Sustainability domain and present Deloitte's Quantum Climate Challenge 2024.

The event concludes with a Fishbowl discussion moderated by Josua Ziegler, spokesperson and managing director of Punktum Digital GmbH. Titled "1 Year after ChatGPT - Expectations for AI and QC in 2024," the discussion will explore expectations for the future of Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing in 2024.
